Constantine 4K Steelbook Edition Up For Preorder At Walmart For Only $30

While it remains to be seen whether the sequel to Constantine that was announced back in 2022 will actually make it to the finish line, at least fans of the original can soon watch the Keanu Reeves film on 4K Blu-ray. Constantine is slated to release on 4K Blu-ray on February 18, and two budget-friendly editions are up for preorder to commemorate the movie’s 20th anniversary. Walmart currently has Constantine’s Limited Edition Steelbook release available to preorder for $30;

Constantine’s Limited Edition Steelbook has a pretty cool cover with stylized artwork featuring John Constantine (Keanu Reeves) surrounded by demons. The interior artwork depicts one of the most striking apocalyptic scenes in the movie.

Warner Bros. created the 4K cut of Constantine using the original camera negatives. It will support HDR10 and Dolby Atmos audio. This is the first time Constantine will be available in 4K UHD resolution.

Along with the 4K UHD Blu-ray disc, you’ll get a voucher to claim the digital version of Constantine. This release comes with all of the special features from previous Blu-ray releases as well as a new feature called “Two Decades of Damnation.”

Here’s a full list of special features included with the new 4K Blu-ray release.

Constantine Limited Edition Steelbook (4K Blu-ray)

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, Constantine is based on the DC comic series Hellblazer, and stars Keanu Reeves as the titular chain-smoking ******-hunter. After getting involved with an investigator exploring the death of her twin sister, Constantine finds himself caught between the forces of Heaven and Hell. It made some major changes to the source material, but overall, it remains faithful to the spirit of the comics.

The movie wasn’t well-received when it was first released two decades ago, but since then, the years have been much kinder to this Hellblazer adaptation and a sequel starring Reeves has been in the works for years. However, recent updates indicate the script still isn’t finished, so it’s likely the film won’t hit theaters for a while.

In the meantime, if you’re curious about the character’s origins, you can also pick up the

for $105 (was $150). This massive volume collects dozens of Hellblazer story arcs, one-off issues, crossovers with other DC characters like Swamp Thing and Sandman, and behind-the-scenes materials like scripts and more.

In the years since the movie, Constantine has also appeared in other DC universe projects, including his own TV Series starring Matt Ryan as the occult investigator. It only ran for a single 13-episode season but is well-regarded as a faithful adaptation of the character, making it another great way to learn more about the Hellblazer mythos. You can grab
