EA is closing down the Origin PC client, and players with software past a certain age will be unable to play their games when it's gone. EA is telling players on both

and Apple products that they will need to move to the EA App later this year, but if your PC isn't modern enough then you may be forced into an upgrade. Many who use the Origin client will be fine, but the lack of support for older software means others will lose access to their game library.
