Route 15 shut down after wrong-way driver hits multiple cars

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – A section of Route 15 is shut down after a wrong-way driver hit multiple cars, according to PennDOT.

The roadway is shut down between the Lusburn and Route 114 exits after a car heading southbound in the northbound lane hit several vehicles. The wrong-way vehicle eventually crashed around mile marker 37.

The roadway is expected to be closed for an extended ******* of time. Medical helicopters have been called to the scene, according to PennDOT.
