How to find more plague ichor for the Watcher in No Rest for the Wicked

Spilled Blood is an ongoing quest, where Roan asks the player to gather more plague ichor for the Watcher. It’s not clear where to find this rare resource, so use this guide to learn how to find more plague ichor in No Rest for the Wicked.

The only way to get plague ichor in No Rest for the Wicked is by defeating the game’s main bosses and mini-bosses. Main bosses are usually found at the end of a main quest, while mini-bosses are encountered during weekly bounties and randomly throughout your journey. You can tell you’ve encountered a mini-boss due to the sheer size of the ******.

The first weekly bounty, which the objective is to defeat the ****** in the War Room, earned me a plague ichor. While it’s not guaranteed, it’s safe to assume that future weekly bounties will involve more bosses that reward the player with plague ichor. In other words, make sure you’re always completing these weekly bounties.

Plague ichor is one of the most important items in No Rest for the Wicked since it allows you to increase your inventory size. There are eight different inventories that you can increase, each requiring one plague ichor. You can increase the inventory size of the following:

• Gear inventory slots
• Item inventory slots
• Resource inventory slots
• Misc inventory slots
• Mainhand inventory slots
• Offhand inventory slots
• Ring slots
• Tool slots

The inventory size will increase by 5 slots whenever you turn in a plague ichor to the Watcher.

I recommend increasing resource inventory slots and ring slots first and foremost. The former will allow you to hold onto more ingredients for cooking and more materials for building and upgrades. On the other hand, more rings can significantly increase your character’s potential as rings can increase defense, offense, stamina regeneration, etc.

I don’t recommend increasing the gear inventory slots since it doesn’t add much value. This is because you’ll most likely be selling or storing the gear that has a lower armor rating than what you’re currently wearing. In other words, it’s unlikely you will fill your gear inventory slots.
