Vance plans to wear a two-button, navy blue suit handmade in Italy for his swearing-in ceremony at the second inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States, according to the store’s co-owner, Chris Berre, who said Vance has been a customer for several years.

“He was referred by a mutual friend and started coming in right before his Senate run in 2021,” Berre said of Vance, who resigned his seat in the U.S. Senate last week. “He bought two or three suits before he hit the campaign trail, and he’s been a loyal customer ever since.”

Vance will be fully outfitted for inauguration weekend

In addition to his Inauguration Day suit, Vance ordered three more suits, two overcoats, shirts and a variety of Grenadine silk ties crafted in Italy that he’ll wear during inauguration weekend events, said Berre, who bought Romualdo in 2017 with partner Tim Brock.

Romualdo Pelle, a 90-year-old Italian immigrant and master tailor who founded the store in 1968, is still active in the business.
