The action, which focuses on low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who found himself at the centre of a massive government conspiracy in season one, picks up after the events of the finale, in which he saved the president’s life.

His exploits have earned him a spot in the secretive Night Action division, but don’t expect it to be smooth sailing — there are more conspiracies afoot, and it’s not long before Sutherland is seeking to uncover a potential mole in the elite group.

Yep — it looks like he may now be on the other end of that emergency telephone.

This season sees the return of characters from season one including tech guru Rose (Luciane Buchanan). It will also introduce us to new faces, including Brittany Snow, who joins as a Night Action agent named Alice.

The action is a lot more international, with Sutherland off to Bangkok, Thailand, to track a CIA agent accused of selling classified info.

This one’s going to be big — start getting excited.

This locally made animation has legions of fans. And no wonder — it’s a delight! Season three sees the return of Pounce, Gemma, Neville and Frizzy, back on patrol at the beach, under the watchful eye of kangaroo lifeguard Sandy, voiced by Kitty Flanagan. This season they have a new mate in the form of Spyke, a hyperactive echidna who has a lot to learn. Your littles will love this.
