Far Cry 3 feels like a tipping point in Ubisoft's catalog. It was a dramatic shift in tone from its predecessor, embracing full-tilt chaos and leaning into the open-world formula that the Assassin's Creed games had so dramatically popularized over the few years prior. It was also an absolute blast, and if you've ever been tempted to revisit the misadventures of its peril-plagued, party-going protagonist Jason Brody, there's now one more reason, as Ubisoft finally pushes the much-requested Steam achievements feature live.
