Two hospitalized after police-involved ****** in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Lansing police vehicle was involved in a ****** Monday afternoon.

The incident happened on S. Pennsylvania Ave near the I-496 ramp.

At least two vehicles were involved—a Lansing Police Department patrol car and a second unspecified vehicle. According to LPD, the officer’s vehicle had lights and sirens on at the time of the ******, and the officer did stop at the red light.

An officer and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, it is not known when exactly the ****** happened or if alcohol or other substances were involved. Further details on how the ****** occurred are also not available at this time.
