The couple visited the Pasadena Convention Center where they spoke with locals, including emergency workers who have been tackling the Eaton Fire. The wildfire in Eaton has burned nearly 14,000 acres of land so far, with just three per cent of the fire contained. The Sussexes live in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, approximately 92 miles (148km) away from Los Angeles. They have reportedly taken in some friends who have lost their homes to the fires.
