revealed that the staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of author Matsuri Isora and illustrator Nanna Fujimi’s Silent Witch light novel series unveiled the anime’s teaser trailer. The first visual and additional cast were also revealed. Even more uplifting information, the fantasy anime will be released this year in 2025.

New voice actors announced for the anime include Hitomi Nabatame (KonoSuba) as Nero and Junichi Suwabe (Blue Lock) as Louis Miller. Previously, Saya Aizawa (The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic) was confirmed to voice the main character Monica Everett.

In February 2020, the original Silent Witch novels were released on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) website. A year later, Kadokawa started publishing the light novels on June 10, 2021 with the eighth volume released by the company on August 9, 2024. The next volume will be released on February 10, 2025.

The light novels were licensed by Yen Press and released the first volume on August 23, 2022. The publisher also titled the series as Secrets of the Silent Witch.

“Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is the only mage in the world who can use unchanted magecraft, a true hero who singlehandedly defeated a legendary ****** dragon. The manga version written by Isora herself with Tobi Tana illustrating the manga launched in Kadokawa’s B’s-Log Comic in July 2021 with Yen Press also licensing it with the first volume released on July 18, 2023.
