's approach to combat, but as luck would have it, there's at least one complete exception to this rule. Although fragile weapons can be a controversial feature in many games, The Great Circle generally makes great use of the concept. Even if a sledgehammer falling apart after a few hits doesn't make very much sense, it adds a lot of impact to the melee, and constantly swapping out weapons makes for an engaging scavenging process and a fun sense of variety.
