In a

  • Key remapping
  • Aspect ratio limitations
  • Performance enhancements
  • Pausing the game

Since NRFTW is an Early Access title, it’s no surprise to see these common issues pop up. Even I was annoyed at the fact that I couldn’t change the parry button on mouse and keyboard since it was stuck to the mouse scroll button. It also seems like players would like to pause the game, but many other games have omitted this feature, such as Elden Ring.

Although there’s no timeline yet on when these features will be fixed and implemented, at least we can rest easy knowing that Moon Studios is listening to all feedback. The replies seem to be supportive, with many players talking about how much of a blast it is to play. Surprisingly, no one has discussed the fact that you can fast travel anywhere if you’re playing on a controller, which seems like a total oversight that players can take advantage of.

Other than these four common problems, some players in the replies are adding to the list of issues they’re having. A lot of NRFTW players have complained about the durability system since it feels like it makes the gameplay more punishing. There are also some comments wondering about how NRFTW runs on the Steam Deck, which is a valid question.
