New Orleans police brief media on Bourbon Street attack

Police say a man who drove a van into a crowd and opened fire was trying to “run over as many people as he possibly could”.

Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick said the intentional attack killed 10 people and injured at least 35 others.

The suspect shot at two police officers, the police chief said. Both are in a stable condition.
