Glenn Maxwell has pulled off an unbelievable circus catch on the Gabba boundary in a bid that could become the league’s greatest take.

Melbourne Stars have had little to crow about in BBL14, starting their campaign with five losses from five attempts, extending their overall losing streak to eight games.

It did it all so well the secondary take to complete the catch looked sedate.

It left commentators and teammates alike stunned, instantly drawing comparisons to catches such as Jordan Silk’s incredible diving effort for Sydney Sixers.
