The next Elder Scrolls game is one of the biggest projects in Bethesda’s history. (Image via Bethesda Game Studios) Skyrim was the most successful game in the Elder Scrolls franchise, so there’s no denying that Elder Scrolls 6 has a lot to live up to. However, if Howard and his team are looking to craft another generational hit, they must pick and evolve a feature that every gamer couldn’t get enough of in Skyrim. Elder Scrolls 6 must bring Skyrim‘s transformations Elder Scrolls 6 needs one of the best features of its predecessor. (Image via Bethesda Game Studios) Let’s be honest, Skyrim isn’t one of the best games if you’re looking for immersive roleplay. However, one thing Bethesda did get right with the game’s role-playing mechanics was the introduction of Lycanthropy and Vampirism. These diseases and their transformations bring an incredible experience to Skyrim. Transforming into a werewolf is quite fun, but changing to a vampire brings several additions to the gameplay and forces players to roleplay as one. Considering the community’s love for these transformations, Bethesda and Todd Howard should make it a point to bring these diseases to Elder Scrolls 6 and introduce even more types. With new technologies and today’s modern gaming engines, it shouldn’t be an issue for Bethesda to push the limits of transformations in the title. Just imagine how epic it would be to run around as an undead revenant, a spectral banshee, or even a centaur. New transformations in the game could bring their own special abilities, limitations, and gameplay elements that we’ve never seen in the franchise before. What’s even better is that new transformations can allow Bethesda to bring new questlines that could help create more branching paths for the main storyline. It’s time for an Elder Scrolls 6 trailer in 2025 Can the next chapter in the Elder Scrolls franchise live up to the hype? (Image via Bethesda Game Studios) Rumors suggest that Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is all set to get a remaster, and the announcement will be made in the Xbox Developer Direct in January 2025. This will help kick off Bethesda’s year in a major way after all of the studio’s recent failures. However, the studio shouldn’t stop there. As we all know, the next Elder Scrolls game is one of the most anticipated titles out there for years, and it’s about time that Howard reveals a bit more of the game. Elder Scrolls 6 was revealed initially in 2018, and the hype around it continues to grow day by day. While chatting with This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up , Howard stated that he would have announced the game more casually if he had been given the chance to go back in time. It’s already confirmed that the game is in full production, and its early builds are in the testing phases. Although the game is still probably years away from hitting the shelves, it would be great to see Bethesda finally revealing the trailer for the next chapter of the Elder Scrolls franchise in 2025. It’s the make-or-break game for Howard and his team. With that said, would you like to see any other feature in Elder Scrolls 6? Let us know in the comments below.
