After Killzone, Helldivers 2 Players Want Their Next Crossover to Be With the Penguins of Madagascar

As previously leaked, Helldivers 2 dropped a surprise collaboration with the lost FPS franchise Killzone recently. This epic crossover saw many premium cosmetics, guns, armor sets, and many more. This came after the highly anticipated Omens of Tyranny update, which featured the Illuminate, new vehicles, and melee weapons.

Although Arrowhead was able to make up with the community, players were left wondering about potential crossovers in the future. Fans are curious about which IP will be included in Helldivers 2 next, despite COO Johan Pilestedt’s statement that he doesn’t want to weaken the game with unrelatable partnerships. However, there is one utterly absurd idea that fans have been considering.

This user has dared Arrowhead to make a crossover with the penguins from the highly popular animated series, Madagascar. Just imagine Skipper, Kowalski, Private, and Rico as cosmetics in this Arrowhead co-op shooter, ooh! Some unreal thinking!

This might sound unrealistic, and we know that it is never going to happen, but at a certain point, those penguins fit right into the game’s ‘send four idiots’ subgenre that Helldivers 4 belongs to. However, despite knowing the fact that this potential collaboration would never see the light of reality, fans can’t keep themselves calm.

Such crossovers will, of course, detract from the immersion that Helldivers 2 provides, and future crossovers will primarily be military in nature, as Pilestedt stated. But there is no doubting the penguins’ effectiveness in eliminating the Illuminate.

We have talked about a hilarious and unrealistic crossover. Now, let’s talk about something that is already in the game and is killing it. There were hoards of rumors before the release of the Killzone collaboration with Helldivers 2. Fans wanted this lost franchise to make a return. It did but through the Helldivers 2 universe. However, there were some serious controversies too with this crossover.

Two free firearms, a complimentary armor set, and a number of high-end cosmetics and other items are included in the Helldivers 2 Killzone crossover. All of this equipment, including their weapons and instantly identifiable assault infantry gear, is directly lifted from the evil Helghast faction that appeared in the Killzone video game series.

Although some of these items can be purchased through the Superstore using Super Credits, no Helldiver will ever refuse free firearms, so here is all the information you require regarding the Killzone partnership in Helldivers 2.

However, you can safely avoid purchasing the premium Killzone items in Helldivers 2 unless you’re an avid Killzone fan or have a ton of Super Credits to spend. The cost of purchasing everything here is nearly equal to the cost of two complete Warbonds at 1975 Super Credits, and that doesn’t even account for the 300SC you could unlock per warbond.
