Horror Fans, Don’t Blame EA For Not Greenlighting Dead Space 4 After the Disappointing Sales of Dead Space Remake

EA is taking the bullet for not greenlighting Dead Space 4, and rightly so. It was its decision not to go forward with the game due to the lackluster sales of its predecessor, Dead Space Remake, which allegedly sold only 2 million copies, which is not less but probably not enough to fill EA’s pockets.

This is one of the biggest reasons Dead Space 4 might never see the light of day. Dead Space 2 also faced a similar fate earlier this year, and the entire franchise seems to be going down a dark path at the moment.

Is it too soon to say that Dead Space is dead? Probably not, given the current situation the franchise is in. The game has been a people’s favorite for a long time now, and it will not be easy for most of them to bid farewell to it too soon.

EA needs to open up about its decision to not greenlight the game and give the players a better picture of it so that they get some clarity on it. However, nothing has yet been revealed to the players as of now, which is the biggest contributor to the growing uncertainty around the Dead Space franchise.

However, not all fans seem to agree with EA’s decision and believe that Dead Space Remake was a good game that they had a great time playing, and selling 2 million copies should not be considered a failure. However, the three creators of the game

to the public that their pitch was outrightly rejected by EA.

If you’re wondering just how broken the A through AAA game development cost situation is, the Dead Space remake sold 2 million copies as a horror game during a time where more games are released than ever before, and it’s considered a failure.

I played the remake like 4 times. I love the dead space games. EA is horrible. They keep destroying everything. They don’t care about the fans.

It is still uncertain what the future might hold for the franchise, but it is fair to say that it looks bleak. EA also shelved Dead Space 2 earlier this year and transferred the team from it to work on the next Battlefield game.

It is still not sure what the future might bring for Dead Space; as of now, everything seems lost, and fans of the game are extremely sad about its premature demise. The developer went through great pains to make the game appear as realistic as possible but failed to garner a positive response from the players.

However, the franchise is not yet officially dead, and there is still a chance for the game to bounce back and find solid ground again. EA should give it another go for the sake of its fans.

Most fans are currently accusing EA of eating up yet another fan-favorite franchise. Do you want to see more Dead Space games in the future or not? Let us know in the comments below.
