MGM Studios secured the rights from Games Workshop to produce content around the Warhammer 40k IP in December 2022, there wasn’t any news on the topic because both companies hadn’t ironed out the creative differences.

However, Henry Cavill has finally come out and shared that the highly-anticipated Warhammer 40k series is going forward. While it’s still not clear what Cavill and his team are planning for the franchise’s debut on big screens, they must consider a fight against Dark Eldar that makes Tryanids and Death Guards look weak.

One of the most terrifying factions we’ve ever come across in the vast universe of Warhammer 40k is undoubtedly the Dark Eldar or Drukhari.

The Dark Eldar initially came as a splinter of the ancient Eldar civilization and embodied all of the corruption that led to the birth of Slaanesh, the Chaos God of Pleasure.

The Dark Eldar can be located in the city of Commorragh. This is a hidden realm within the Webway and a place where the Dark Elders craft their plans of betrayal and absolute domination, ensuring survival by taking the suffering of their victims.

What makes this foe terrifying is the fact that it doesn’t just kill; it aims for absolute torture and harvesting every ounce of pain from its enemy. They wear huge armor that is filled with blades and motifs that would make anyone run for their life.

If Henry Cavill’s Warhammer 40k show is really looking to appeal to the fans of the franchise, it must include the Dark Eldar.

We could see the Imperium world under siege by this faction, which would showcase the terror and absolute brutality fending off against the Dark Elder. The possibilities are unlimited, and Cavill must consider adding this faction for a fight.
