****** Ops 6 Players Hate the New Jingle Hells Event Because Of “atrocious gameplay” and Lack of “legitimate incentives”

Christmas is only a few steps away, and ****** Ops 6 has already presented players with a Christmas surprise. Activision has brought a new exciting event for players to enjoy the existing game modes in a new way and earn free Christmas-themed rewards. The effort from the developer is visible, but the catch is players seem not to be happy with what they have received.

Since ****** Ops 6 was released, it has taken the community by storm. While some players weren’t satisfied with the game, others have been praising this game throughout. However, the Jingle Hells event has brought a wave of negative reactions from fans.

Generally, year-end approaches with loads of fun events. Like every year, Activision is ready with its Christmas event, and this year it’s named Jingle Hells. Even after loads of AI controversies, on December 17, the event officially arrived in ****** Ops 6, but it looks like it has disappointed players to a great extent. 

This event has brought a lot of changes to the maps, and Liberty Falls has received the most changes. Now the map has snowy weather, snow-filled landscapes, snowmen, and snowballs, all presented to enhance the Christmas vibe. However, it has altered a few gameplay mechanics that have created the issue. 

Since the event started, players lost their access to Arsenal Machines, Mystery Boxes, and Crafting Tables on Liberty Falls. It means while playing on the map, there’s no way they can collect Salvage, upgrade weapon rarity, or purchase support items. 

This has eventually made the game more challenging. With no weapon upgrade, players must survive using the basic weapons they have, and no armor drop means they have to exfil before the existing armor is completely gone. 

Additionally, this event has brought freezing winds during special rounds that will freeze and slow players down if they stay outside. All these combined have increased the challenge, which players don’t find enjoyable at all.

Jingle Hells is not an exclusive event added to ****** Ops 6 for the first time. Its history with the ****** Ops series is years old. First, this event arrived in ****** Ops Cold War, and now, it’s part of ****** Ops 6. This is a limited-time event, though the end date is not yet declared.

While it has included a lot of fun mechanics, it has inclined the challenge that players do not at all find suitable.

Getting no salvage and weapon upgrades has mostly made them furious about the new Jingle Hells event in the game.

Above everything else, players have been constantly pointing out the vermin rounds as boring and annoying.

A lot of players mentioned that reskinning the enemies and maps is alright, but the other features are completely unacceptable.

Released in October 2024, ****** Ops 6 has brought a number of new features to the game, including a new weapon upgrade to make snipers deadlier than ever. 

However, with this Christmas event, Activision has made things again complicated, as community players are already annoyed with Liberty Falls’ new gameplay mechanics.
