Marvel Rivals developer NetEase Games is asking players not to modify any of the game's files, especially around config changes, warning that it can lead to "unexpected issues." Some settings aren't available in the front end of Marvel Rivals itself, so players are adding config scripts into the game files to improve their overall experience. While NetEase doesn't completely specify the consequences of making these changes, the studio does promise that further optimizations for the game's controls are coming in future updates, so even if you aren't fully satisfied with the configuration settings right now, it might be safer to wait.
