Ubisoft Wants to Change the ‘Far Cry Formula’ with Far Cry 7 and Maverick

Yeah UBI sucks now. I loved the older style games, up to ****** flag. Then they kinda copied Dark souls combat a bit with origins, it was fun for a little, but the boredom set in fast. They’re way too big, the writing is terrible. There’s never a story or side character that’s good enough to care about. It’s all by the numbers, development by committee in a boardroom garbage in every title. Plus they all feel so similar and dumbed down. Even far cry here isn’t fun without the crafting and skill upgrades from FC3.

Ubisoft needs to fire like 3/4 of their staff especially corporate people. Whittle it down to just the talented, creative devs with a passion, and let them make their own creative decisions. They’re just too big, working with bloated teams all over the world trying to make games together virtually, with ******* communication I’m guessing. Oh, and fire anyone who tries to put their real world political views into fictional works of art.
