Man fights for life after horror workplace incident

A man is fighting for life after suffering an electric shock in a workplace incident in an eastern Sydney suburb.

Emergency services were called to Franklin St in Malabar about 8am on Monday after reports of a man being injured in a workplace incident.

NewsWire understands the man, believed to be in his 30s, suffered an electric shock.

The man was treated by NSW Ambulance on the scene and was transported to the Royal Northshore Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

NewsWire has contacted SafeWork NSW for comment.
