Man injured in Saturday evening shooting near Montgomery apartments

Police have confirmed that a man was injured in a shooting near The Oaks apartments Saturday evening.

Around 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 14, the Montgomery Police Department responded to a call about a person who had been shot in the 4900 block of Park Towne Way, an MPD spokesperson said.

Police made contact with an adult male victim, who suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately released.

Police have said there is no further information available about the case as the investigation is still underway.
