Missing person: Urgent search underway for 68-year-old Ruby Joseph last seen in Ardross

An urgent search is underway for a woman living with dementia who was last seen in Ardross.

Ruby Joseph, 68, was last seen in the vicinity of Munsey Street in Ardross about 8pm on Friday night.

A command post has been set up at Wireless Hill Park and WA Police, SES teams and SES dogs, Water Police and WA Police emergency operations unit members are assisting with the search.

Police hold urgent concerns for her safety and ********.

“Ms Joseph is mostly non-verbal and may not answer if someone approaches her,” a police spokesperson said.

“Ms Joseph is described as being 157cm tall, of large build, with shoulder length grey hair.

“She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeve top with flowers, and ****** Skechers shoes.

“Ms Joseph lives with dementia and it is unusual for her to go off by herself.”

Anybody who sees Ms Joseph or has any information relating to her whereabouts is urged to call police immediately on 131 444.
