The game is already breaking records left and right and even surpassing its biggest competitors thanks to a roster of Marvel characters, engaging features, and gameplay. Marvel Rivals features all the iconic MCU Avengers to play with. (Image via NetEase Games) While Marvel Rivals is off to an incredible start with tons of free content and things for players to experiment with, some have now started bashing its cast of the original MCU Avengers for being too unbalanced and pathetic to play with! The MCU Avengers don’t stand a chance in Marvel Rivals Since Marvel Rivals is trying to bring a massive hero shooter experience set within the incredible Marvel universe, it’s packed to the brim with various fun easter eggs, scenes, and even the original MCU Avengers, who you can choose to dominate your competition with. You’d think that if you replicate the original MCU Avengers in the game by bringing Captain America, Hulk, Thor, ****** Widow, Hawk, and Iron Man on your team, no one can defeat you as this cast This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up and his army in the movies. However, players on X/ This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up have voiced that it’s a terrible lineup in Marvel Rivals. According to players, the problem with the iconic cast in the game is the fact that it features 3 Duelists (DPS) and 3 Vanguards (Tanks). With all Duelists, this composition has a crazy amount of firepower, but all of the characters have incredibly low health in the game, which makes them easier to kill. Without a single Strategist (healer), this lineup’s tanks don’t have a shot at recovering from all the damage they will soak up. Replicating the MCU Avengers lineup in Marvel Rivals will only lead to your failures, as it’s not a healthy comp and doesn’t have all the tools the game expects you to use in every match. Marvel Rivals still needs to bring in some iconic Avengers Marvel Rivals is still missing a number of Avengers from comics. (Image via NetEase Games) Setting the original MCU Avengers aside, there are still some characters from the group known among fans for their appearances in comics that are still not present in the game. Starting off, we have Ant-Man and Wash. When the Avengers first debuted in 1963, it had five founding members. Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man are already in the game, which leaves two founding members, Ant-Man and Wash, left off. With Pym Particles, these heroes can shrink and enlarge, and such abilities would be great in the Marvel Rivals. Captain Marvel wasn’t one of the founders of the Avengers, but she has been an integral part of the team’s roster over the years. Her energy absorption abilities, superhuman strength, and the ability to fly over her enemies would make her an incredible Strategist in the hero-shooter. Another crucial part of the superhero group is Vision, who debuted in 1968’s The Avengers #57. He would make a great Specialist in the game as he can create decoys, pass through walls, regain his health, and, best of all, fly!
