With Fortnite Ballistic, It’ll Officially Become the Metaverse of Games if It Adds Just 2 More Modes After Racing, 5v5, Battle Royale

At launch, Epic Games’ Fortnite initially offered two exciting game modes: Save the World and Battle Royale as early access titles. The game went on to become a worldwide sensation and popularised the idea of battle royale games among a wider audience. Fortnite‘s biggest advantage was the fact that it was free-to-play, allowing many gamers to play with their friends across all major platforms for free.

In the past seven years, Epic Games has introduced four more unique game modes: Fortnite Creative, a sandbox game; Lego Fortnite, which featured Lego-based game experiences; Rocket Racing, a spin-off title to the 2015 game, Rocket League; and Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game. Epic Games isn’t stopping any time soon as it has announced another brand new game mode called Ballistic. Fortnite has now become a complete package, giving players various options to choose from, but it still needs these two game modes to become the metaverse of games.

. This new first-person Fortnite experience will feature a round-based 5v5 competitive game mode. This brand new experience, which will serve as competition to many popular FPS franchises, is coming to Fortnite in early access on December 11th, 2024.

The addition of the Ballistic game mode has created a lot of anticipation among the fans. It seems like Epic Games is on a journey to create Fortnite a universal game for fans of all different genres. Just like GTA Online, this experience also features heists, and using the in-game money, players can customize and show off their houses. This unique experience is coming to Fortnite on 12th December 2024.

This game mode, along with Ballistic will certainly boost Fortnite‘s active player count as many players are excited to try out these new modes.
