Even just one turn in any of the previous games in the series have been known to last a shockingly long time. This is particularly true when there are a lot of cities, a war, or any massive movement of units that needs to be handled. With so much to do in the game, it can be overwhelming for casual players to even consider starting up a game, but this problem may be solved in Civ 7.
