Everton vs Liverpool: Merseyside derby postponed because of Storm Darragh

The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park has been postponed because of adverse weather conditions during Storm Darragh.

An amber weather warning was issued on Merseyside on Saturday morning following the threat of disruptive weather.

The match was set to be the final Premier League derby between the two teams at Goodison before Everton move into a new stadium in 2025.

“Today’s Merseyside derby at Goodison Park has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions,” an Everton statement said.
