Honor of Kings is set for the winter with the Snow Carnival event which is full of campaigns and rewards

• The Snow Carnival event will run until January 8th in different phases
• Several rewards such as skins, valuable resources, and more will be up for grabs

Winter has arrived in Honor of Kings as the Snow Carnival goes live, bringing with it a series of frosty events and new mechanics to cosily battle it out over the next few weeks. From now until January 8th, you can experience seasonal festivities on the battlefield, participate in limited-time challenges, and earn exclusive rewards as the cold sets in.

Honor of Kings’ Snow Carnival event takes place in a phased manner to keep things interesting. Currently, Glacial Twisters is live, where you must navigate icy tornadoes that affect movement and positioning. With that, you can also take on the Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant which gives you an extra freeze effect on winning.

Later, the Ice Path effect will be available in phase two beginning December 12th. You can summon the Shadow Vanguard who is capable of freezing enemies in your path. In addition, the hero’s Ice Burst skill also goes live, which triggers an ice **********, dealing AoE damage and applying a slow effect on foes.

Finally, phase three will feature the River Sled event, running from December 24th. You will be offered a sled on defeating the river sprite, which grants a speed boost during times of retreat. For something more light-hearted, you have two casual modes to enjoy – Snowy Brawl and Snowy Race.

Beyond the battles, the Snow Carnival features a variety of reward-focused events. The Zero-Cost Purchase event guarantees valuable items, including skins, through daily selections. Furthermore, tasks like Mutual Help and the Scoreboard Challenge provide opportunities to earn exclusive cosmetics like Liu Bei’s Funky Toymaker skin and the coveted Everything Box.

Meanwhile, HOK also shared details about its 2025 esports calendar. From regional tournaments to global showdowns, there’s a lot to look forward to next year. The third season of the Honor of Kings Invitational will kick off in February in the Philippines, with loads of exciting challenges for participants.
