Epic Games Is Selling Emotes in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 But Will Punish You For Using Them During Matches

With the recent Fortnite Chapter 6 update, performing emotes in front of the “No Emote” sign is being punished. In previous seasons that sign was just a suggestion, but this Easter Egg is now the law of the land.

Since Chapter 1, signs prohibiting dancing or emoting in specific regions have appeared on the map, but most players dance in front of the signs regardless of the hint. Some Chapter 1 seasons even contained challenges that required players to dance in front of or ******** these “No Emote” marks.

However, the newest chapter of Fortnite takes business seriously, as one player discovered while exploring a mountaintop with a sharp drop.

user “S4HAND” has warned his fellow Fortnite players of this Easter Egg, which he discovered unusually. He warned the community that, ignoring these markers would come with a steep price. In his footage, the player demonstrated how he attempted to ******** the emote “Sad Trombone” in front of one of those markers over a hill but was thrown off the cliff before his full animation could be completed.

He even showed replay footage of himself being blasted away from behind, indicating that it was not a sneak ******* by another player and that he had been punished by the game for not respecting the rules of the land.

This incident isn’t the only one that happened, several other players faced this new judgment from this invisible force.

Meanwhile, other Fortnite players were thrilled with this additional detail.

I mean, they warned you lol

Took them 7 years to add punishment for emoting at these signs though lol.

Back in Fortnite Chapter 1, there was a challenge to perform emotes in front of the “No Emote” signs that were scattered over the map from Junk Junction to Flush Factory. The locations of “No Emote” markers were placed at random positions, and players had to find them to complete their Battlepass challenge.

Completing those challenges would have allowed OG users to gain XP and, in certain cases, unlock special cosmetics in-game.

Those who dare to face the invisible judgment of Fortnite, go and find a “No Emote” marker and show your best emote out there.
