Scorched Earth's release brought with it a host of new updates that fundamentally change how the game is played. Much like the original Ark: Survival Evolved, Scorched Earth introduces a new desert biome filled with hazards like sandstorms that can significantly impact the environment, as well as super-hot temperatures that can dry out any adventurer without a good supply of water.
