When the game wasn’t included in the initial list of games that were getting PS5 Pro support, a lot of fans were highly disappointed but it’s finally here and it is all set to take the gaming experience to the next level. The game has an exciting multiplayer, however, some players were left disappointed by its campaign. Many have pointed out that it lacks a compelling narrative, which really affects the entire single-player experience. With this update, the game will use the console’s PSSR, boosting resolution to give players a better visual experience. Along with the PS5 Pro support, the game will also get a new operation called Obelisk and a set of additional customization options. Thanks to the update the the game will upscale to 4K resolution in both Performance and Quality modes. Performance Mode will be capable of delivering resolution between 1080p and 1440p at around 60FPS, while the Quality Mode will deliver between 1080p and 2160p at 30 FPS. The upgrade is massive but players will only be able to experience it after the release of 5.0 Patch, which will roll out in the first half of December. No Visual Upgrade Can Fix The Major Problem In Space Marine 2 Many believe that Space Marine 2‘s campaign could’ve been better (Image via Saber Interactive) The visual upgrades will only improve how the game looks but only a DLC can improve the quality of the game. The game was well-received by the fans, however, some believe that the campaign could’ve been better. In simple words, it lacked a compelling narrative. The length was shorter than expected, the characters felt underdeveloped and it featured some predictable twists. What the game really needs is a strong DLC that focuses on the single-player. Saber Interactive managed to fix the mess it made by nerfing fan-favorite elements of the game, so it is clear that at the moment, the studio is more focused on making the multiplayer experience exciting. The game has surpassed the 5 million players mark, but the balancing updates forced many players to uninstall the game. The developers toned down the difficulty in response to players’ feedback but now, the community finds it too easy. Players also complained that the studio weakened players instead of adding stronger, better enemies. In October, it was confirmed by Space Marine 2‘s game director, Dmitriy Grigorenk, that Saber Interactive is coming up with Public Test Servers to make sure the studio understands what the players want.
