These bunkers appeared to be built as shelters from nuclear war but served darker purposes as dubious experimental sites, with residents unwittingly serving as test subjects. While five vaults are available in the base game, two additional vaults appear in the Far Harbor and Vault-Tec Workshop DLCs.
