Man extradited and charged over alleged fatal ********

A man has been extradited and charged over the alleged fatal ******** of another man.

NSW emergency services were called to William Street, Tweed Heads South, about 3.15am on November 24 following reports of an ********.

Officers arrived to find an unconscious man lying on the ground outside a home.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man but he ***** at the scene.

The man has since been identified as a 39-year-old Tweed Heads resident.

Police established a ****** scene and launched a ********* investigation.

NSW detectives, assisted by Queensland Police, arrested a 48-year-old man in Kirra, on Queensland’s Gold Coast, on Saturday afternoon.

The man was extradited to NSW and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station, where he was charged with ******** causing ******.

He was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
