Cross-border breakthrough in police investigation into alleged fatal ********

A man has been extradited from Queensland and charged over an alleged fatal ******** in northern NSW.

A 39-year-old man ***** at the scene after an alleged ******** at Tweed Heads on Sunday, November 24.

Emergency services found the man unconscious on the ground outside a William Street home.

********* detectives launched Strike Force Mantung and early on Saturday morning, police arrested a 48-year-old man at Kirra on the Gold Coast, just over the border.

He was taken to Southport Police Station before he was extradited to NSW and charged with ******** causing ******.

He was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
