Watch Dogs: Legion is getting a sequel in the form of an interactive audio experience

The story of Watch Dogs Legion is being continued in an audible original series.

Watch Dogs Truth will pick up after the 2020 open-world game and feature some returning characters from the series.

“Listeners of this thrilling story will once again join the ****** for truth whilst guided by the self-aware AI, Bagley, as they make decisions at the end of each episode, with choices that shape the hacking collective’s next move, profoundly impact character relationships and ultimately, the success of the resistance effort,” reads the official description.

“Across the series, listeners will have the fate of the city in their own hands, as the government’s cyber intelligence force (SIRS) orchestrates a sinister campaign of message manipulation and fake news, which leads DedSec to ****** back using its revered tactics to battle against alarming disinformation.”

The show stars Russell Tovey, Freema Agyeman, David Morrissey, Gary Beadle, and T’Nia Miller.

A Watch Dogs movie is also currently in development.

Featuring an original story, the film will co-star Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me) and Tom Blyth (Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes), and be directed by French genre director Mathieu Turi (The Deep Dark).

Ubisoft has released three entries in the action-adventure game franchise: 2014’s Watch Dogs, 2016’s Watch Dogs 2 and 2020’s Watch Dogs: Legion.
