The hype train for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is zipping through the gaming landscape, promising to be one of the biggest RPG releases of the year. Like any good role-playing game, Dragon’s Dogma 2 has a handful of classes, some more commonplace than others. Here’s a rundown of each one!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 features a broad range of classes that should suit any playstyle. You’ll likely find it’s easy to excel no matter your class, so long as your party complements each other and you learn to play your class adequately!

Class	Description
Archer	A ranged damage-dealer capable of attacking from afar with powerful bows, turning the game into an almost third-person shooter.
Fighter	Your typical sword-and-board melee fighter capable of using heavy armor, two-handed weapons, and pulling aggro.
Mage	A ranged caster capable of using spells and staves to support the party, offering boons, healing, and damage-dealing spells.
Thief	A fast and sneaky DPS-type class utilizing twin daggers to strike hard and then retreat from combat.

Class	Description
Magick Archer	A long-range damage-dealing archer who imbues their bow and arrows with magick.
Mystic Spearhand	A capable melee class that dual specializes in spears and magick to deal damage at any range.
Sorcerer	A powerful magic user that excels in long-range combat through powerful spells and staves.
Trickster	A conjurer who uses their power to create illusions and control the battlefield.
Warfarer	A Jack-of-all-Trades that utilizes swords, bows, and staves to become the ultimate combat force.
Warrior	A two-handed ******* expert that deals powerful damage with every strike.

You have so many fantastic options to choose from when it comes to the classes in Dragon’s Dogma 2. You’ll start with one of the Basic Classes, then as you advance through the story and level up your character, eventually choose an Advanced Class. With that in mind, I recommend picking one of the following:

• Fighter: The ultimate in-your-face melee class, fighters can take the ****** to the ****** and deal damage with powerful swings and strikes. They are early-game tanks accessible to any player.
• Archer: If you have any experience with the original Dragon’s Dogma, you know that a powerful Archer becomes a force and completely changes the experience. They’re long-range experts using a bow and arrow.

Of course, the class you select is completely up to you and your desired playstyle! I’ll likely wind up rolling one of each!
