Larian has already teased Patch 8, which is going to offer a plethora of exciting new features, further proving its commitment to the game and its community. With each patch, it almost feels like the studio has a secret way of knowing the playerbase’s wishlist, and it is not shy about revisiting it time and time again.

Larian Studios Dropping Another Gift to Baldur’s Gate 3 Players With Patch 8

Baldur’s Gate 3 is already filled with countless hours of content, intricate character-building, and various engaging features like modding (introduced in Patch 7). The studio has already done enough to keep the game fresh and it could have easily sat back and let time do the rest.

Instead, Larian is going the extra mile and showcasing its dedication to the game and its community with Patch 8, which is coming early next year in January. This upcoming patch will introduce various new and exciting features like Cross-Play, Photo Mode, 12 new subclasses (one new for each class), and the continued promise of fixing various bugs.
