1 Aspect of Star Wars Outlaws Will Feel Like *********’s Creed in Space

Star Wars Outlaws is set in a universe that transpires a ********* underworld, a massive open world, and characters that we haven’t been acquainted with before. Given how Ubisoft is behind this upcoming title, there are instances of the game that will feel similar to the *********’s Creed games.

The game’s narrative director, Navid Khavari, has been keen on letting fans know that not only will the game resemble some of their favorite Star Wars adventures, but it will also borrow aspects from a few game mechanics that made previous Ubisoft games so popular.

So far, it looks like the game’s universe is going to blend multiple forms of combat.

In an interview with Navid Khavari,

learned many things about Star Wars Outlaws’ development process, and all that has gone into creating a universe that’s so vast yet feels familiar. One of these key learnings has been about how combat and quests work.

According to Navid, many instances of the game will feel familiar, especially with how many open-world Ubisoft games work:

There is something truly fantastic about taking on a job from a syndicate, dealing with corrupt Imperials in the capital, and then hopping on your speeder and blasting across the wide-open savannah. There is really no other feeling like it.

Navid has also pointed out how the game’s cinematic sequences and dialogue are quite in line with the older Star Wars films, making the game a big entry point for anyone who’s getting into this universe for the first time.

It would be great to see how missions can be done in different ways, just like *********’s Creed games.

Given that Star Wars Outlaws is indeed a Ubisoft project, we can likely expect a lot of familiar things. The sneaking around objectives, the quest markers, the side quests. However, now that Navid has confirmed how stealth ****** are pretty much a gameplay loop, it’s yet to see how players make the best of it.

In games like Star Wars Jedi, combat is pretty much in the face. It makes things look epic, drawing attention to the ‘super-hero-ness‘ of it all. But, Star Wars Outlaws is a much more subtle take on parts of the Star Wars universe that tries to stay under the radar.

On that note, the game will have both, high-adrenaline sequences as well as quieter ways of getting things done. It would be interesting to see how Kay Vess and Nix make it through complicated scenarios without alerting enemies.

If you’ve played *********’s Creed before, you’re not new to this stealth system, and Star Was Outlaws will put those skills to the test.
