games are incredibly well-loved and often lovingly and meticulously customized. Frequently, these custom characters will make appearances in subsequent games to aid and often "pass the torch" to the new protagonist facing the latest threat to Thedas. A customized Hawke makes a cameo in Dragon Age: Inquisition at the request of Varric to aid the Inquisitor against Corypheus. And, in BioWare's latest release, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a customized Inquisitor has a cameo to help Rook against Solas.
