Powerball Jackpot hits $100m for November 28 draw

Powerball punters are looking at a $100m jackpot draw on Thursday night.

The popular Lotto gamble has skyrocketed to the huge sum for draw 1489 and follows four consecutive draws without a division one winner.

The $100m figure makes it the third-largest jackpot offered by any *********** lottery game in 2024, the company said.

The chances of winning the jackpot, which requires seven matching numbers plus the powerball, is about one in 134 million.

The Lott expects millions of Australians to enter into Thursday’s draw.

In February, a record jackpot prize of $200m was taken out while a South *********** scooped up $150m – the biggest individual win ever.

In August, a Brisbane woman won the jackpot prize in Powerball draw 1475, taking home a $100m prize.

“We’d like to do some travelling,” the woman said when asked what she would do with the money.

“Maybe a family holiday somewhere. We’ve always wanted to go see New Zealand and Fiji.”
