Sink Your Teeth Into All 6 Resident Evil Movies In 4K With This ****** Friday Deal

The Resident Evil movies aren’t exactly the best video game adaptations, but there’s a charm to these cheesy action flicks that’s hard to deny. For ****** Friday, the entire six-film saga is on ***** at Walmart for $85, a substantial savings of $146 for this collection of 4K Blu-rays. The entire set is packaged in a stylish tin, and each film also comes with a standard Blu-ray and a digital streaming copy.

Resident Evil Ultimate 6-Film Box Set

Here’s the full list of Resident Evil films starring Milla Jovovich, that’s included in this bundle:

  • Resident Evil
  • Resident Evil: Apocalypse
  • Resident Evil: Extinction
  • Resident Evil: Afterlife
  • Resident Evil: Retribution
  • Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

The first Resident Evil film set the tone for the film franchise, as it adapted elements from the existing games and weaved them into a story about a mercenary team–and Milla Jovocich’s amnesiac character Alice–infiltrating one of Umbrella Corporation’s secret bases to stop a doomsday scenario. The only problem? Rabid dogs, flesh-eating scientists, mutant abominations, and a ******* AI stood in their way, leading to some gruesome deaths and action along the way. From there, the film series became increasingly ridiculous, as the nearby Racoon City was overrun with infected people, Alice got psychic powers for a while, and the human race faced extinction after the virus spread across the planet.

At its best, these are B-movie action-horror adventures, but there’s a genuine love for the video game source material that shines through. Each Blu-ray comes with numerous special features for each film, including deleted and extended scenes, behind-the-scenes documentaries, filmmaker commentary, outtakes, and even an extended cut of Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Resident Evil’s CG

While this Resident Evil film series was the main one on the big screen, there have been other shows and CGI-animated films released over the last couple of years. The animated movies have been fairly well-received and are also available on Blu-ray. You can pick up three of them–

There’s also

a live-action adaptation of the first two Resident Evil games, but the critical consensus toward it has been very unkind. It’s still a gritty and blood-soaked movie, so if you’re a fan of cheesy dialogue, stomach-churning practical effects, and Resident Evil Easter eggs, you might just enjoy this one.
