Today’s best Apple iMac M4 deal

Our review for last year’s M3 iMac found very few faults and a myriad of upsides – as such, we crowned it the best all-in-one PC you can buy. 2024’s iMac M4 came along and quickly dethroned its predecessor thanks to leaps in performance, a RAM bump from 8GB to 16GB at the most affordable configuration, and a fresh new look.

We were enamored with the M4 chip’s efficiency with everyday tasks – it’s a thing of beauty when just browsing through your files or opening up a new tab is a satisfying experience.

Unfortunately, it’s not all rosy red apples, though: the Magic Mouse that comes with the iMac, while thankfully shifted to USB-C, still has its charging port on the bottom. Why? We have no idea. But the good news is that you get two or four Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports (depending on your chosen config) to connect the best mouse you can find. The display is also capped at 60Hz, so if you’re looking for the silky smooth 120Hz screen you can get with an iPhone, you won’t get it here.

Downsides in all, the iMac M4 is still very easy to recommend for its impressive performance to price ratio, beautiful display, and fresh new colorways – especially with the $100 price cut on offer here.
