Sonic X Shadow Generations, with the game managing to sell 1.5 million units a month after its release.

selling over a million units isn't too surprising, considering how it was one of the most anticipated releases for Sonic the Hedgehog fans in 2024. While it includes a remaster of 2011's Sonic Generations, there is also a campaign starring Shadow the Hedgehog, where he faces off against ****** ***** and other enemies from his past. Shadow being the protagonist of his own journey adjacent to Sonic Generations gave the remaster a lot of attention it otherwise likely wouldn't have gotten.
