The main reason, aside from the matchmaking concerns, for this decision seems to be about maintaining competitive integrity in ranked games. However, this logic falls apart when anyone considers the cheating problem on PC.

The sheer amount of cheaters actively undermines the very fairness that the developer is trying to protect. It’s time for Treyarch to listen to its community and make the simple, yet impactful change that would solve one of the biggest issues in ****** Ops 6.

In the end, while players are waiting for the developer to make the decision, the cheating problem will likely continue to get worse, leaving players frustrated and wondering when the condition of the lobbies will be fixed.
