As this cold front moves through Southern California, it is expected to lose a lot of its moisture, so significant rainfall in San Diego County is not likely. Most of the rain activity is expected late Saturday evening overnight into early Sunday morning. Sunday is expected to be cloudy and cool and somewhat dry. There is another pulse of potential moisture for Monday or Tuesday, but again it is likely to be isolated light showers. (NWS San Diego) In total, San Diego County is looking an only a few hundredths an inch of rain for coast and valleys with potential up to a tenth inch for places like Julian and Pine Valley. Regardless of rain, widespread cloudy cover and breezy westerly winds will pick up.
