‘He’s got a ****!’ Wrong-way driver arrested after shootout near Southlake Central Market

SOUTHLAKE, Texas – Southlake police say a 19-year-old driver is in custody after he hit multiple vehicles, got out of his van, then pulled out a rife and started *********.

The Southlake Police Department said they initially got a call around 9:30 a.m. Friday about a wrong-way driver that turned into an accident on Southlake Boulevard between Carroll and Central avenues, right in front of Central Market.

Tiffany Perry says she was dropping off her son at the time and described seeing a gold van heading straight for her in the wrong direction.

“I was like ‘Oh my gosh!’ And so I put on my blinker to get over but he ended up getting over,” she recalled.

Perry said the driver, who police identified as 19-year-old Sean Wallace Jordan of Colleyville, made a U-turn and started speeding down East Southlake Boulevard. That’s when police say he struck several vehicles before crashing his van.

“He was not stopping at the lights. He was going straight through them,” Perry recalled. “Probably two minutes later, I heard ambulances, police and ***** trucks.

As a Southlake police officer arrived on scene, Jordan allegedly pulled a rifle out of his van and began ******* at another driver and the officer.

“One of my construction workers came running inside that shots were being fired outside,” recalled ***** Muzaffar, a nearby business owner.

Security cameras outside Markham Fine Jewelers captured wild video of a man running from the gunshots.

“He’s got a ****! He’s got a ****!” someone yelled just before more than a dozen shots rang out.

Police confirmed the responding officer returned *****. Thankfully, no one was hit by the gunfire, and no one was hurt.
