While the new hotness may be bullet heaven, I’m sure there are more than a few of you who prefer the hellish. If so, and you’re a veteran of the genre, you’ll more than likely be excited to find out that longtime hit Just Shapes & Beats is finally making its way to mobile more than half a decade after release.

Out now on iOS, Just Shapes & Beats bills itself as a chaotic musical co-op bullet *****. Join up to four other players in navigating a musically-scored obstacle course as you dodge, ***** and weave. Boasting 48 stages and 20 tracks from chiptune and EDM artists, it’s not hard to see why JSB sits at an overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam.

Yes, it’s not hard to see why it’s so popular. But this is also a release that needs to be experienced for itself, especially given how tight-lipped the devs are. It seems Berzerk Studio are not the kind to toot their own *****, but the bevvy of accolades Just Shapes & Beats has received speaks for themselves.
