Lego Horizon Adventures set confirmed for 2025

Following earlier reports, Lego has announced a new Lego Horizon set due for release in March.

Aloy & Varl vs Shel-Walker & Sawtooth will cost €44.99 / $44.99 / £39.99 when it releases on March 1, 2025. The set will include 768 pieces.

Currently, Lego has released one set based on the Horizon franchise. The Tallneck was released in May 2022 for $79.99. The set has since been retired.

“We’re delighted to bring one of gaming’s most beloved franchises to life in both physical and digital Lego brick form,” said Kate Bryant, product lead, of branded games at the Lego Group. “We hope this latest set continues to fulfill our commitment to seamless play and empowers our fans to expand on their favourite games in their own, unique way.”

“Lego Horizon Adventures has brought Aloy and the acclaimed Horizon universe to a new audience and we’ve been very pleased with the title’s launch,” said Roy Postma, Art Director, Guerrilla. “This new set adds to that momentum by enabling players to build on the excitement of the adventures they experience in the game in true Lego fashion.”

VGC’s review of Lego Horizon Adventures called it a “simple family adventure.”

“Lego Horizon Adventures is an enjoyable family game with witty writing and great visuals,” we wrote.

”The gameplay won’t scratch the ***** of players who were introduced to Aloy via the main series, but for younger gamers, this is one of the vanishingly few family games available on modern consoles that’s of legitimately high quality.

“Witty writing and a cheeky sense of humor make the game feel like Gurrella letting its hair down before heading off on the journey of Horizon 3. Some repetitive gameplay aside, it’s an enjoyable palette cleanser in the middle of 2024’s long list of epic experiences.”
