If you’re looking to craft Adamantine Armor or weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll need some Mithral Ore. However, it’s an exceptionally rare resource, and tracking it down can be a challenged because ohof limited you are in finding it.

Given how limited Mithral Ore is, you want to be careful about what items you make. You can only use it when crafting at the Adamantine Forge, which you can find in the Underdark before you reach Act 2.
